Boys in Blue

This is a post to thank all the officers out there who have gave their lives, so we could live. Recently, two of our officers were killed in the line of duty. Another officer was shot but not mortally wounded. The  Rapid City Police Department would greatly appreciate it if you sent up a little prayer for us and our families. The whole community has been so kind during this difficult time. We have sold many T-shirts, bracelets, and blue ribbons, with most of the proceeds going to the families. My father had the privilege of giving the message at one of the funerals. He did an AMAZING job of comparing the Armor of God to a police officer's armor.

GET WELL SIMI!!!!!

You all probably don't know Simi, but she's Jaiden's cousin. Just recently,  12 year old Simi was riding her horse with her 8 year old little sister near Malad, Idaho.  The horse was being ornery, so her mom tried to grab the reins. The horse spooked and reared. Her little sister, Sedar, fell off, but Simi's foot was caught in the stirrup. As the horse charged away, Simi got her foot out. She fell off hard, landing on her hands and  breaking both wrists. Simi is now in the hospital, recovering. This post is for all of you who read my blog, to just leave a comment saying: "Get Well Simi", or "We're praying for you!" etc. Here are a few pictures of her so you can get to know her a little better.

July 6th: Catch-Up Day

Hi guys (and gals)! What have ya'll been up to? Well I've been up to ALOT! Since I haven't Blogged since April 13th (WHAT?!?!?!?) we have some catching up to do.
On the Twenty-Fourth of April in the Year of our Lord 2,011 my family and I celebrated the rising of Jesus Christ from the dead.
I learned Osama Bin Laden was killed on the second day of May.
Kyra slept over the first full weekend of May.
My piano recital was May 15, as was Mr. Huber's Birthday!
I won the American Legion Award on the 20th of May.
Jaiden turned 14 on the May 22nd.
School ended and my BFFAE slept over!
I was with my cousins from the 1st of June 'till the 18th of June.
Nebraska was my home for roughly 11 days, starting on June 7th. ( I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!)
On June 19th my cousin Jonathan either broke or dislocated his arm :S. (How ya doin' Johnny?)
The next day I went to Charles' summer party.
It rained on the first day of Summer. (That's SD for you!)
Savannah's birthday was celebrated with family on June twoney-ate (as she says) and her "friends party" will be this Saturday.

So, that's pretty much it for old news, so here's the exciting part. Since our computer died (sometime in the first week of June) because of Wattpad, I can't post stories. Soooooo I've decided to make a WHOLE new blog, JUST for stories!  I need a cute name though, so comment if you have one for me!! Once I have a name I'll be set to start posting my stories!!! :D YAY! Ta-ta for now!!

April 13: (Sorta) New Glasses!

Okay guys, I've been putting this off, but I finally have some time! Here are some pictures of my new glasses (and me). Oh, and some really random, silly pics of me choking Silas, and Savannah in the bathtub! (So cute!!) Well I have to go find a baby picture of myself now! Chow!

Febrary 26: Kyra's Birthday Blog

Awwww....

Kyra has been my friend since fifth grade.

She keeps me laughing on bad days, and good.

Braces, a troublesome thing we both share.

She always has my back.

I love singing with her, she has such a pretty voice!

Babysitting is super fun when it's her and I.

I admit, she got me hooked on the Warriors series, and I've been loving them ever since ;).

I won't even start about her Ugg (there I spelled it right!) boots. :D

Kyra is just super cool, and an AWESOME friend.

February 10: Tori's Birthday Blog

You can never catch Tori! 

Tori has been an awesome friend to me for almost five years.

She is super smart (advanced math)!

She always listens when I need her to also.
When I first moved up a grade, Tori  came right up to me and made friends.
She really is the "glue" that holds all of us friends together.
In Elementary school, when we (Jaiden and I) ever "fought", tori would beg us to stop.
Tori is just awesome!

February Sixth: My Mom thought He was an Angel Until...

Okay, so it all started when we went to MacDonald's for ice cream. (Yeah., I know, it's like, 9 degrees out. What can I say? We had a craving!) Anyway, we had ordered and we were sitting down, when this old man walks up and gives Savannah a penny he found on the ground. At first I was all like "stranger danger!", but he started talking and we warmed up to him. First he talked about the government taking away all his retirement money. Then he said he worked on the railroad, so he talked with Mom about that for a while, because my Great-Grandpa had worked on the railroad. Then, somehow the topic went from trains to life insurance (don't ask me!) and then the "sweet old man" left to get his food. We kinda laughed about his random topics, but Mom reprimanded us saying "You never know who might be an angel in disguise!"So, we're just about done, when -from across the room- we hear him talking on his cell phone.  Okay, this is the funny part! He's just talking away, when I hear the biggest release of body gasses (out the back end) that I have ever heard, from someone outside my family!!!!! Mom, Dad, and I were trying incredibly hard to control the bubbling laughter coming from within. Silas and Savannah BURST out laughing!!! There were two middle aged girls sitting closer to him than we were, and they peeled outta there like their tails were on fire! We came out right after them! It was so hilarious! We laughed about it all the way home.When we got into the driveway, Dad said "Well, if he WAS and angel, he was an angel of laughter!" and of course, that made us all crack up again!

February 1: My BFFAE's Birthday Blog!

I promised, and even though I am a little late, here goes! My BFFAE:
Heather is the most amazing person I know! She is kind, compassionate, loving, and super smiley!
She is an honorary member of the LHC, and always has one for me! ((()))))))
She has the best teacher, and gets to go to school whenever she wants to!
Everybody loves Heather, and can't get enough of her!
Knitting and crocheting are her passions, right next to reading and acting!
We have sooo much in common, and I don't know how I have ever lived without her.
Her bubbly personality makes her a "must be" at birthday parties!!
God has truly blessed me with such a loving, true, amazing, BFFAE!

January 22: Hair Cut!

January is a new year, so I decided on  a new look. Don't worry, I didn't cut much off, in fact, you can hardly tell I got it cut! It doesn't look like much, but trust me, it FEELS different!It was getting so unmanageable that I was just putting it into a ponytail everyday. The oil it produced was pretty disgusting also!

January 13: Leaving

January has gone by so fast! I'm in a new play called "Nellie Takes to The Skies"! It sounds fun. The whole family is going to Sioux Falls to see Silas compete in his "robot tournament" So don't expect me to blog! (Live I have been ;)_) Ta ta!
